The challenge: traditional perfectionistic culture in a dynamic market
In 2019, Triglav Group set out on a path to become a modern, innovative and dynamic insurance and financial group, firmly remaining the leader in Slovenia and becoming one in the South East European region. The vision meant a significant shift in goals oriented towards clients. However crucial goals like redesign of products to be simpler and desirable and to significantly increase customer satisfaction were not achievable through the existing culture of strong perfectionist, conventional, approving, and opposing behaviours. A profound change was needed in how employees respond, behave, collaborate and learn, in how leaders lead, and in how teams work together. For that, new culture values: responsiveness, simplicity and reliability were crafted – and needed to be adopted throughout the organization becoming of 5400 people spanning 7 countries.
The process: company wide culture shift from the top down
In 2.5 years, e2grow drove a massive culture shift by designing and implementing
- CEO-driven top-down culture-oriented communication,
- strengths-based prism of how people unleash their potential and potential of others,
- mindset and 5 habits of High Performing Team program across 30% of the organization,
- new leadership mindset and habits (meaningful conversations of High Performin Leader program),
- coaching as regular performance and behavioural development activity,
- a group of 60 internal coaches that now act as ongoing agents of culture change.
The results
